  • Best German* - all German-marked entries, regardless of time period

  • Best United States* - all U.S.-marked entries, regardless of time period

  • Best Russian/Soviet* - all Russian/Soviet-marked entries, regardless of time period

  • Best Commonwealth* - all British Commonwealth-marked entries, regardless of time period

  • Best Small Army* - all entries marked for all other armies, regardless of time period.

  • Best Ordnance - only entries in Category 8

  • Best Scratchbuilt/Major Conversion* - only entries in categories 9 and 10

  • Best Figure* - only entries in Categories 11 and 12. Entries in this category will not be eligible for any of the other category “Best of” Awards

  • Best Diorama* - only entries in Category 14. Entries in this category will not be eligible for any of the other category “Best of” Awards

  • Best Vignette* - only entries in Category 13. Entries in this category will not be eligible for any one of the other category “Best of” Awards

  • Best Fictional/Sci Fi* - entries in categories 13, 14 & 15 (includes fictional/sci-fi dioramas and vignettes)

  • Best Junior - only entries in Category 16

  • Best Vietnam - any ground-based military vehicle that served in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos or Thailand, any era, any category

  • 911/1st Responders - any military ground-based vehicle with medical markings, any era, any class

  • Best Sherman - any Sherman-based vehicle, any era, any class

  • Best Weathering - any era, any category

  • Best “Braille” scale - any era, any category of kits of 1/72 or smaller

  • “Kitchen Sink” - any era, any category with extensive after-market additions

  • Best Char B1 bis – Any version, any scale, any era to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Tamiya kit

  • Peoples’ Choice

  • Best Theme Award - given to the model that most appropriately represents the theme selected for each years' show. It may be given to either an INTERMEDIATE or ADVANCED skill level entry. Note: Category “Best of” Award winners are also eligible for the Best Theme Award
     

  • Judges Best of Show Award - Selected from the eligible "Best of" winners
